Get Involved
It would be great if you can get involved in the first stage of our #Hope4CHdogs campaign , we would love to hear from you.

The first stage involves gathering information:
To be able to build the awareness of CH in dogs and promote their welfare we need to gather information. This information will be used to create a good picture of how many dogs are living with Cerebellar Hypoplasia and the support and resources available to them.
With this information we aim to:-
-
Create an information pack for potential and new hooparents/foster carers of dogs living with CH.
-
Analyse the information received to look at possible patterns and similarities relating to CH.
-
Look into carrying out research (case studies, and literature reviews) - as public information on Canine Cerebellar Hypoplasia is sparse and research on CH dogs is usually carried out at post-mortem, without a lot of observations of dogs alive with CH.

How you can help?
Firstly, we have a Facebook group. This is a great way to keep up to date with how the campaign is going and find new ways to get involved.
Please join the group.

Secondly, we have a questionnaire called Dog with Cerebellar Hypoplasia Questionnaire, it would be great if you could fill it in if you are caring for a dog with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (hooparents and foster carers). This questionnaire includes information about you, your dog and the support you give. It also gives you the opportunity to place your dog on our register of CH dogs. The questionnaire also asks permission on how we can use the information you provide.

This questionnaire is the first of three questionnaires, the other questionnaires will be for vets and dog rescue organisations and will be part of the second stage of the campaign and are available here if you would like to fill one in now.

Click below to fill in the first questionnaire.
Other ways to help
Write a blog
We would like to hear from you if you would be interested in writing a blog post on our website about your experience of caring for a dog with Cerebellar Hypoplasia. You can either fill in the questionnaire and state your interest on the form or contact us directly.

Get the conversation started
It would be great if you would speak to your family, friends, vets and colleagues, etc. too about Cerebellar Hypoplasia and our campaign. Please use the #Hope4CHdogs to inform people about Cerebellar Hypoplasia and help us give dogs with CH a hope for a life and a better future.
