Meet Holly

Say Hello to Holly

Holly is a 9 week old yellow Labrador, who was rescued by Labrador UK Action Group (LUKAG) on Sunday 20 December 2020. She had a brilliant, fun Christmas with her wonderful LUKAG foster family and we became her adoptive family today.

Holly is a very special puppy; she has no vision in her left eye and at eight weeks was diagnosed by Debenham Vets as having a neurological condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia which means that Holly's ability to walk will be limited and she has a very distinctive wobbly head (I'll explain more about Cerebellar Hypoplasia in another post).

Holly slept most of the way home, had a short play in her new home. She got quite tired quite quickly again so I introduced her to her new crate and bedding and she fell asleep very quickly with a familiar toy with her.

Whilst she has been asleep Tilly the Cat has cautiously had a look at her and vanished upstairs, it will be interesting to see how they both respond to each other.

When Holly wakes up, she'll have her first exploration of her new back garden and have her first meal in her new home.

So pleased to have Holly as part of the family and can't wait to share all of her adventures.
